Working under the general supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position supports the department’s efforts to communicate, educate, inspire and engage effectively, while maintaining and promoting the San Diego Regional Center's mission and brand. This position is responsible for creating the monthly newsletter, event flyers, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, email marketing campaigns, and advertising materials using graphic design, as well as proofreading and managing print coordination and product inventory. Coordinates events, manages event registration and sponsorships, prepares resource materials and giveaways, maintains event records, provides regular updates on event details, collaborates with other teams, and assists with event set-up and registration. Manages the staff tribute program, and mission moment awards.
