This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Ability to support the meeting and event team with contract processing, meeting detailing, rooming listing assignments, meeting post reconciliation and data entry.
Pay range: $20-$25 hour
Duration: Temporary, 3-6 months
Schedule: M-F 8:30am – 5:30pm
Assists in coordinating all meeting and event logistics, including, but not limited to: hotel/venue selection and contracting, on-line registration development and management, communication materials, menu planning, function room arrangements, audio/visual requirements, rooming list/housing management, ground transportation, entertainment, team building activities, etc. in accordance of the approved budget.
Supports the development, planning and execution of meetings and events for the organization.
Responsible for full-knowledge and understanding of event space layout, capabilities and limitations.
Contributes to vendor and site selection, arrangements, and scheduling.
Coordinates, manages & deploys registration website.
Builds and maintains relationships with preferred vendors.
Monitors and respond to attendee correspondence, maintaining a high standard of service level, and ensuring accuracy.
Plans and meets deadlines internally and externally to clients. Maintain calendar of due dates and follow-up with internal and external contacts.

Experience in hospitality or event planning.
High school or GED required.
