As a Meeting & Events Planner, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and the key liaison between clients and CBRE's Meeting & Events operations team. With your warm, engaging demeanor and capacity to handle complex scenarios empathetically and efficiently, you will play a vital part in delivering smooth, memorable events that reflect CBRE's standards of quality and client service. • Bachelor's degree • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience and/or training • Experience in corporate or conference center management preferred • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred • Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people • Warm and engaging demeanor • Ability to assess circumstances, empathize and offer help • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents • Strong problem-solving skills • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook • Ability to learn and retain use of multiple software platforms quickly • Good organizational skills • Able to work well under pressure and proactively handle routine and non-routine situations
