Meetings and Events Procurement Specialist

Your Responsibilities:

Build strong relationships with clients by communicating program details effectively, anticipating their needs, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Meet with clients to understand their vision and venue preferences for events.

Utilize your expertise to research and send RFPs to the ideal properties for your clients.

Negotiate competitively to secure the best deals that align with client wants and expectations.

Act as the main contact during the contracting phase, ensuring contracts are expertly managed.

Organize logistics meticulously while keeping attention to detail in all aspects of event planning.

Establish and nurture connections with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to build a valuable network.

Embrace creativity to proactively address changes and develop innovative solutions as they arise.

Coordinate global site inspections when necessary.

Oversee all event specifics as the lead producer to ensure seamless execution.

Manage budgets diligently, auditing all billing related to programs for accuracy and consistency.

Conduct post-event evaluations to reflect on successes and areas for improvement.

Your Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in venue sourcing and meeting planning.

Proficient in Cvent and comfortable with various technologies.

Excellent communication skills that inspire and empower others.

Strong motivation to meet deadlines and timelines.

A self-starter who embraces challenges with a positive attitude.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

A love for travel and excitement about potential global travel (up to 20%).

A commitment to providing outstanding hospitality and consultative service.

Location: United States

Salary Range: $55,300 - $102,700. The actual salary will depend on the role's complexity and the candidate's experience and skills.
