Metro Youth Day - Event Coordinator

The Metro Detroit Youth Day – Event Coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all activities related to Metro Detroit Youth Day, one of the region’s largest youth engagement events. This role will serve as the primary liaison between BGCSM, the MDYD organizing committee, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and community partners to ensure the event is executed efficiently and reflects BGCSM’s mission and values. Event Planning & Coordination • Lead and manage the full planning cycle for Metro Detroit Youth Day, including logistics, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Volunteer & Staff Coordination • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to recruit, onboard, and assign volunteers. • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of staff, volunteers, and partners.
