The manager will also play a key role in managing aspects of the North America Events tentpole client and employee events. Event & Tradeshow Planning and Coordination: • Oversee all aspects of exhibitor delivery including services and managing sponsorship deliverables across the North America portfolio. • Work closely with Director, NA Events to establish future year budget allocations and determining shows to attend and commitment total to set aside. Qualifications: • 5 or more years of relevant event work experience with a bachelor's degree • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Certification preferred • Direct event management experience supporting trade shows and small networking events • Knowledge of Payments industry or event experience at Fintech organization a plus • Proficient in MS suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); savvy with technology with a data-focused mindset • Able to manage basic graphic design tasks (resize images, cropping, etc.) • Excellent at collaboration cross-functionally with colleagues at all levels as well as external vendors/partners, to accomplish meeting/events objectives • Superior communication skills (written & verbal); skills developing website copy and event communications • Serious attention to detail and a commitment to excellence • Ability to work with a sense of urgency, and deliver under tight deadlines/time frames; prioritize workload • Trustworthy and credible; ability to manage sensitive information and share only as needed/appropriate
