The Event Coordinator will be responsible for helping to develop operational strategy and oversight for all the Colon Cancer Prevention Project’s 3 large annual fundraisers: Kicking Butt 5K, Colon One golf scramble, and Bottoms Up Bash in addition to aiding the staff with digital fundraising campaigns such as Give for Good throughout the year. Plan and execute charity events to include: · Minimum of three quotes for major items to be used for comparison pricing · Two to three years of experience in events management with a proven track record of successful planning and programming preferably with a 501c3 nonprofit agency · Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
