Planner, Special Events

Working in conjunction with the Manager, Events, Director of Trade Marketing, Communication, Training, Support, & Sales Events, & Director of Brand Events to deliver exceptional events and achieve company objectives. Coordinating all assigned events or aspects of events from creative stage to final execution including all phases: ideation, planning, and execution, while communicating with Senior Management, shipboard personnel, land-based personnel, and/or travel partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for project management and execution of Sales & Brand events for Celebrity Cruises, including planning, logistics, communication, and execution, with and under the direction of the Event Manager. • Project management of events with other support departments/ vendors/ event helpers. • Update comprehensive databases of industry contacts, vendors and venues • Coordinate with Travel Partners, Associations, and other external groups as needed to create events from idea to execution.
