This position performs administrative and supervisory work as the Planning Manager within the Planning department. The position allocated to this class assists in the management of the Current & Land Use Planning Section of the Department of Planning in its planning activities, zoning, administrative and enforcement activities, and any special projects. Work is performed with considerable independence and under the general supervision and direction of the Planning Director. • Three (3) year of supervisory or lead experience. • Ability to plan, implement, direct and evaluate planning services for recommendation to Planning Commission, Hearing Examiner, and Board of County Commissioners.
