Tulsa Zoo Management, Inc. (TZMI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting, caring, and advocating for wildlife, people, and wild places. Reporting to the Director of Private Events and Venues, the Private Events Coordinator primarily focuses on expanding and managing the Zoo's private events business. The coordinator handles group ticket sales, including bulk and advanced orders for groups larger than 25, and helps organize and host private events such as birthday parties, weddings, business meetings, and other social gatherings. This position requires the candidate to be involved in all aspects of event planning, from initial client contact and sales paperwork through invoicing and on-site event support. The Private Events Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the reputation of the Tulsa Zoo as a premier event location while enhancing guest experiences through meticulous event coordination and hands-on support.
