Production Event Specialist

As a Production Event Specialist, you will be the creative and production engine behind local, quick-turn events and activations on-site. Key Responsibilities Partner with the General Manager, Event Supervisor, and Community Marketing Specialist to develop original concepts for local events and activations that align with our IP and title campaigns, guided by cross-functional initiatives.Work closely with the central team to coordinate approvals, assets, and creative ideation, ensuring that local activations align with broader company standards and initiatives.Develop and maintain detailed project decks that capture all design elements, creative direction, and production specifications for use in Central IP, legal, creative, and production reviews, as well as with the on-site team and GMs.Provide clear design direction to vendors, fabricators, and creative partners to ensure deliverables meet our creative and brand standards.Maintain a strong command of IP standards and guidelines across all active projects, ensuring all activations are compliant and on-brand.Contribute a keen eye for design and aesthetic quality at every stage, from concept through final installation. Identify, vet, and onboard vendors across categories including fabrication, décor, AV, concept design, graphic design, and more.Build and maintain a robust rolodex of go-to vendors in the (LOCATION) market and beyond, with a focus on quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.Manage vendor relationships from concept through install, serving as the primary point of contact for deliverables, timelines, and on-site execution.Manage project timelines and keep all parties informed of milestones, dependencies, and open items.Oversee on-site installs and event load-ins, ensuring all elements are executed to spec and on schedule.Conduct post-event recaps and site walks to capture learnings and maintain a record of vendor performance. 5+ years of experience in short-turnaround event production, experiential marketing, live events, themed entertainment, or a closely related field.Proven ability to develop event concepts from ideation to execution, with a portfolio that demonstrates creative range and production quality.Strong eye for design and a working knowledge of experiential production aesthetics, spatial design, and guest experience principles.Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships end-to-end, from sourcing and contracting through on-site execution.Experience building and managing project-level budgets, P&Ls, and cost estimates.Familiarity with IP-sensitive environments and experience navigating creative review and approval workflows.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects without losing attention to detail.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and pivoting quickly when priorities shift.Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to pitch ideas confidently to senior stakeholders.Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Google Drive, Docs, Slides, and SheetsExisting vendor relationships are a strong plus.Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools for light design review and annotation is a plus.
