Professional Event Planning Specialist

Job Title: Event Coordinator About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing events, promotions, and entertainment programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate customer promotional programs, events, and entertainment engagements on property • Assist with event coordination and requests regarding entertainment, concerts, variety shows, and special events • Brainstorm creative promotion and events concepts and propose plans to bring them into execution • Source décor rentals, coordinate menus, departmental communication, arrange travel plans, and order event materials/signage • Create engaging displays, research customer gift ideas, submit promotional rules, prepare communication for operations, schedule assistance as needed, and ensure all materials and signage are available at time of promotion • Liaise between entertainment support teams and the Marketing Department to ensure proper communication and organization of all entertainment events • Maintain and track gift inventory and ensure products arrive on time and are properly accounted for after each promotion • Communicate important Marketing information to Operations • Maintain, track, and communicate all offers for Events and Sponsorships Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older • BA in Marketing or 1+ years of marketing related experience • Self-starter; excellent verbal and written communication skills • Detail oriented and very organized • Able to multitask in a fast-paced deadline driven environment • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Equal Opportunity Employer:
