Our mission is to expand the sport of pickleball by inspiring new players and providing enthusiasts of all skill levels access to a welcoming community, optimal playing conditions and opportunities for growth. Members of all ages and skill levels can visit the Ace Pickleball Club location to participate in a variety of activities including daily open play, clinics, leagues, tournaments, social and glow-in-the-dark events. • Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure appropriate staffing and marketing is planned for programs and events • Send monthly and as needed communication to members and guests regarding programs and events • Ensure the guest experience during programs and events is optimal • Manage tournaments from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, food & beverage, check-in, match schedules, participant communication, music, etc. • Confirm all events and programs are scheduled in the Point of Sale system, club calendars are up to date and necessary resources are allocated • Evaluate the success of programs and events by reviewing attendance, participant feedback and financial data to improve future events and programs. • Pickleball Enthusiast • Previous experience managing tournaments, leagues and clinics in a fitness or sports setting is a plus • Previous experience managing and organizing multiple one-time and on-going events and programs is required • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Effectively builds strong relationships within in the community and on the team • Detail oriented and highly organized • Experience using point of sale systems and Microsoft Office, Mail Chimp and SMS
