Programming and Event Coordinator

You’ll work collaboratively with clergy, staff, lay leaders, committees, and volunteers to bring programs to life that reflect our values of inclusivity, learning, justice, and tradition. The coordinator will work as part of a dedicated team, with support from staff, clergy, volunteers, and a graphic designer to help promote and execute events. Program and Event Coordination • Plan and support a wide range of programs for all ages—holiday celebrations, concerts, lectures, fundraisers, and more • Collaborate with clergy, staff, and volunteers to develop and manage a comprehensive programming calendar • Coordinate with guest speakers, performers, and educators • Oversee event logistics, including space booking, catering, setup/teardown, supplies, and tech needs • Create production timelines and event-day coordination plans Compensation and Benefits • Salary range: $48,000 to $58,000 annually, depending on experience • Health insurance, vacation and sick time, and secular holidays off • Jewish holidays are generally offered as time off; however, due to the nature of this role, the coordinator will be expected to work on some Jewish holidays to support programs and events • Professional development opportunities • A collaborative, mission-driven work environment Temple Beth Israel is committed to building an inclusive, welcoming community and encourages applicants of all backgrounds and identities to apply.
