The Programs Department plays a vital role in fostering community engagement by planning, developing, organizing, and managing a myriad of special projects and events throughout the year for the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office (BBP). The BBP office is actively seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and creative self-starter with outstanding communication, planning, and customer service skills for the role of Programs Events Coordinator. - At least 2-years of experience in event/program planning. - Event planning and or event coordination and research experience. As a prospective employee of the City of New York, you may be eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs and state repayment assistance programs.
