Project Employee, Event Operations

Built around five professional sports leagues:  the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League and Basketball Africa League, the NBA has established a major international presence with games and programming available in 214 countries and territories in 60 languages, and merchandise for sale in more than 200 countries and territories on all seven continents. The Event Operations Project Employee will work directly with the Manager to organize and coordinate all facets of event logistics with a particular focus on logistics, transportation and administration including but not limited to shipping, customs and warehousing. • Coordinate site visits; inspect event location(s), route(s) • Support Transportation Lead on overall event planning and logistics working with outside resources (e.g. agency, city, DOT, venues) to develop written plans • Work cross-functionally with all relevant personnel to ensure routes are safe • Respond to internal and external inquiries via email /phone in a timely manner • Create maps, conduct conflict analysis, track data, provide analysis and recommendations to improve processes that aid in superior execution of transportation and shipping services. Advanced degree or certification(s) is a plus.
