The Event Manager ensures every aspect of an event is meticulously planned—from menu selection and décor to vendor coordination and budget management—while maintaining a seamless flow on the day of the event. Citizens values its workforce and supports professional growth within an inclusive and equitable work environment. • High school diploma or GED required • Prior experience in event planning or coordination preferred • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain meticulous attention to detail • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and staff • Ability to work independently, manage teams, and make decisions under pressure • Familiarity with event management software, online registration platforms, and audiovisual equipment • Available to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend events • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to negotiate and contract with vendors • Capable of handling last-minute changes and problem-solving under pressure
