Marketing and Events Manager - Full Time Overview Do you love downtown Rochester and are interested in marketing, communications, and events? Responsibilities Marketing and Communications: Participate in the development and implementation of a strategic marketing plan that aligns with RDDC’s mission to drive economic vitality and foster an inclusive, vibrant downtown, in partnership with Director of Marketing. Craft messaging that reflects the diverse interests of the varied downtown community, emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility. Events & Meetings: Support the RDDC team and vendors in the execution of events and activations Partner with organizations and stakeholders on collaborative events that serve and enhance the downtown experience. Assist with vendor and event partner coordination and communication Provide on-site staff support during events, including assistance with set-up and tear-down as needed Design meeting content and assist with communications, providing support for meetings and events as part of the RDDC team You’ll Be a Great Fit If… You have genuine excitement about downtown Rochester You’re an innovative problem-solver You are committed to serving the interests of the varied downtown community in your work You’re organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks You are a self-starter who is energetic and learns quickly You are able to work with a variety of professionals to keep projects on track You have experience with Microsoft Office, major social media platforms, Canva, Squarespace, and Constant Contact You are physically able to lift up to 50 pounds in order to work at event sites (set-up and tear-down, etc.)
