About the role:
Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Commercial team as a Sales and Event Coordinator. This role provides administrative support to the Commercial Director/ Director and Sales Manager while being familiar with all aspects of the booking process.
What you will do:
Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls to Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Executive OfficePrepare accurate written correspondence including letters, contracts, reports, banquet event orders, schedule of events, printed menus, and emails using MS Word, Delphi, DocusignMaintain Delphi accounts, including traces, creating and updating bookings, manipulating events in the function diary and the preparation of banquet event ordersMaintain the various Sales and Catering file systems, both electronic and paper distribution, including Account Files, Addendums, Contracts, Vendor Resource Files and Resumes.Operate a variety of electronic and manual office resources
What you bring
Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English languageGood organizational skills.Attention to detail.Ability to multitaskAble to handle telephone calls in an efficient and courteous manner.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, and Delphi.

Schedule & Hours:
This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours weekly. This role is typically scheduled Monday-Friday from 9am -6pm, but will occasionally required to overtime or weekends as needed
