Sales & Event Assistant

What You Will Be Doing • This role will report to the Events and Execution Supervisor and work closely with the Marketing & Sales team to provide exceptional service to our guests and oversee on the ground execution of group events, sponsorship fulfillments, and marketing and PR events • Be main contact on the ground during group sales and client events... • Communication with local department teams to ensure execution and fulfillment of event plans • Participate in promotional signage checks in the park, assist Supervisor with change-over and installation • Assist in planning and executing brand partner related needs like on-site sampling, photo proof and event feedback • Occasional small-scale event set-up and break-down (example 1 pop-up tent, 2 folding tables with covers, A-frame signage placement) How You Will Do It • Engage guests with a positive and welcoming attitude • Create and submit required execution reports and program recaps in a timely manner • Proactively handle arising issues and troubleshoot solutions • Group sales outreach support • Assist with social media content • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned What You Will Need • Must be 18 years or older • Out of the box, creative thinker with an enthusiastic attitude • 1-2 years customer service experience, event experience a plus • Must be able to demonstrate excellent time management, written and oral communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in fast pace, team environment • Strong work ethic with an attention to detail • Experience working with Microsoft Office • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays • Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record a plus • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Why work with us? • Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour • Flexible scheduling – work as little or as much as you want • Paid training • DailyPay – work today, get paid tomorrow • Advancement opportunities • Free admission to ALL Six Flags parks, including White Water Bay • Free tickets for friends and family • Discounts on passes, food, and merchandise • Exclusive employee events • Fun rewards, benefits, and more!
