Senior Event and Parking Manager

Parking and Events Operations Manager We are seeking an experienced professional to manage citywide parking, event venues, special events, and marina/boat launch enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the events industry, a strong understanding of business principles, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Your responsibilities will include planning, developing, and managing onsite and offsite parking personnel, facilities, and programs, reviewing parking citations, participating in planning activities and programs related to parking, recommending and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring parking operations are sufficient for public safety during mass gatherings and special events, and developing policy, goals, and objectives for the Marina division. You will also be responsible for updating, developing, and implementing program activities, responding to complaints, concerns, or requests for information for all aspects of Division Marine, Parking, and Venues, managing venues, producing meaningful economic development tailored Special Events at Weber Point and Downtown Stockton, coordinating and ensuring permit requirements for event-driven street closures and crowd management, working collaboratively with City departments to maintain efficient operations of Special Events, Parking, and Venues, participating in City's emergency response planning and training, negotiating and managing sport tenant leases and long-term Marine leases, managing, directing, and being responsible for personnel, and setting Division goals, tracking metrics, and reporting progress.
