Our client, a premier event management company, is seeking a creative and highly organized Senior Event Planner to join their dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts, US . This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels at conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of high-profile events, from corporate functions and galas to weddings and conferences. You will manage all aspects of event logistics, vendor relations, client communication, and on-site execution to ensure seamless and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities include:
Developing event concepts and themes in collaboration with clients. Managing all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, AV, décor, entertainment, and staffing. Creating detailed event timelines, budgets, and proposals. Sourcing, negotiating with, and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process. Conducting site inspections and venue recces. Overseeing on-site event execution, ensuring that all elements run smoothly and according to plan. Troubleshooting any issues that arise during events with a calm and professional demeanor. Managing event staff and volunteers on the day of the event. Conducting post-event evaluations and client debriefs. Staying abreast of current event trends and industry best practices. Maintaining a strong network of vendors and venues. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, preferably within an agency or corporate setting. Proven track record of successfully planning and executing diverse types of events. Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills. Proficiency in event management software and MS Office Suite. Creativity and a keen eye for detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. Must be able to work on-site in Boston, Massachusetts, US and travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
