The Senior Events Planner is a highly motivated and experienced planner who will play a pivotal role in supporting Nordic's enterprise, global event strategy. The Senior Events Planner will have the following key responsibilities which include, but are not limited to: • Manage, coordinate, and execute planning and logistics for in-person conferences and trade shows • Travel to assigned events to provide on-site management and support • Own, nurture and grow relationships with our professional organizations and other associations • Organize the pre-conference/pre-event preparation and planning for in-person and virtual events • Handle all event-related logistics, including shipping booths and materials, coordinating associate transportation, lodging, event space, and badge registrations, etc. • Manage internal communications related to show logistics and pre-planning • Monitor and coordinate execution of speaking opportunities for our subject matter experts • Contribute to and execute on ideas to increase event foot traffic and engagement • Contribute ideas and execute on ancillary and promotional events associated with trade shows • Quickly and effectively solve unforeseen show-related challenges in real-time, onsite • Maintain attendee and invitee lists in coordination with internal, cross-functional teams • Organize registration for in-person and virtual events, including managing information and registration pages • Work closely with the Global Marketing team and key stakeholders to drive participation in events and derive value after the event by executing on pre- and post-event campaigns, including sending emails, direct messages, coordinating sales enablement material sharing and other tasks as assigned • Suggest and implement campaign improvements as required to increase engagement and participation • Monitor the success of each digital or in-person event and complete event reports • Conduct post-event surveys and polls and act as a moderator (if necessary) • Other duties as assigned Strong preference for experience within the healthcare sector • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required • Demonstrable organizational acumen and project management expertise • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Willingness to travel as required • Possess creative thinking and adept problem-solving capabilities Additional Details • Traveling up to 30% of the time • Must be accessible and available to perform work-related functions at any time, including nights and weekends, as needed • Salary is based on skills and experience We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
