Charlottesville, VA Charlottesville, VA Temporary Temporary $25 an hour $25 an hour 17 hours ago 17 hours ago 17 hours ago Event Coordinator Job Responsibilities: - Performs all aspects of event planning, coordination, and execution for the school, including event request intake, logistics consultations, managing venues and vendors, managing registration and invitation lists, overseeing event... setup/teardown/production, and preparing post-event follow-up outreach. - Serves as the point of contact for the planning, coordination, and execution of co-hosted events in partnership with internal university and external co-hosts - Manages event registration and track attendance. - Provides administrative support to the Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations as needed. - Ability to work nights and weekends as needed. - Additional responsibilities as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability/Experience managing events Discretion, good judgment, and personal motivation Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree Previous professional work experience in event planning and management or facilities and operations Working knowledge of email marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred) A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities Job Type: Temporary Pay: $25.
