Special Events Assistant

The purpose of the class is to support the presentation of special events and programs offered by the Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services Department. • One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in event planning or supporting special events and festivals. • Specialized courses/training, equivalent to the completion of one year of college, in recreation, leisure services, marketing or a related field is preferred. • A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position. Additional Requirements • Requires periodic shift work which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
