The Special Events Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional hospitality and support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Duties: • Welcome and greet guests with warmth, charm, and a welcoming attitude • Coordinate and host celebrations and events, ensuring a smooth flow of activities and entertainment • Provide information and directions to attendees regarding event schedules, activities, and facilities • Encourage guest participation and ensure everyone feels included and valued • Assist event organizers with logistics, including distributing event materials, coordinating vendor services, and managing event equipment • Coordinate seating arrangements, manage guest lists, and assist with seating guests if required • Ensure that event spaces are clean, organized, and properly set up before and during events • Ensure all safety protocols are followed upon opening and closing of the venue/event • Maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere by engaging with guests and encouraging participation in activities or entertainment • Ability to operate a screen & projector, turn on the computer, mini sound board, mini monitor and projector, mic, and with the possibility of troubleshooting. Pay • $20 hourly Job Type: Part-time
