Special Events Coordinator

The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium is currently seeking a Part-Time Special Events Coordinator to join the Communications Department. This position works directly with the Director of PR and Communications Events on a variety of projects, which includes our attendance-driving, family–friendly events, as well as some public relations and marketing opportunities relative to the organization and specific events. The ideal candidate is committed to advancing the Zoo’s mission through event experiences and ensuring the coordination of event logistics meets quality and brand expectations. They will be responsible for pre-event planning and day-of event logistics. • Must have the ability to transport and move items 25+ pounds occasionally.
