This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless collaboration between the culinary team and event coordinators, focusing explicitly on the preparation and execution of special events. This role requires a strategic leader who can organize, produce, and ensure quality in all event-related pastry outputs. • Proven event management, interpersonal and relationship building skills with a positive team-oriented attitude • ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer service • ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities simultaneously and prioritize competing requests • exceptional organizational skills that support logistical planning and delegating to meet critical timelines • must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends to manage and oversee events • availability to travel periodically between California CIA locations • ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stretch regularly • must be able to stand for eight hours • ability to work in extreme temperatures hot and cold for extended periods • ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds • must be able to lift up to 40 pounds or more with assistance
