The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) is a dedicated government agency committed to serving the state's military veterans and preserving the rich history of their service. The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist (Special Events Planner) for a project position to complement their dynamic team. This role is focused on commemorating the nation’s semiquincentennial—the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The candidate will be a key player in materializing the commission’s vision of commemorating this landmark anniversary in a manner that honors veterans and educates the public about Wisconsin’s historical significance. • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Ability to pass a criminal background check • Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet requirements to operate a State of Wisconsin Fleet vehicle • Willingness to travel as required • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively • Must be available through the project end date of March 31, 2027
