Special Events Specialists

Assist the Marketing and Sales divisions in advertising and selling events at the Space and Rocket Center Strategize with the Food and Beverage Director to ensure pricing and menu options are relevant and competitive Collaborate with the Food and beverage Director to ensure event sponsors and guests have a memorable event Collaborate with various departments for seamless internal event execution. Serves as the main point of contact for VIP Guests visiting the center Responsible for planning for appropriate hospitality for VIP Guests and with working across the Center to ensure that guests are delighted and the Rocket Center's objectives for the visit are met. Effectively monitors staff performance and offers appropriate coaching, counseling or supervision as required. Travel Required : on occasion QUALIFICATIONS Required Education Bachelor's degree in hospitality, meeting, and event planning, or a related field. Proven supervisory experience with effective time, project, and detail management.
