Special Events Supervisor

The Special Events Supervisor is responsible for the daily leadership, supervision, and development of the Special Events Support Driver team while overseeing the successful execution of field operations supporting Auto Club Enterprises. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of field operations for:Motorsports activationsSporting eventsFairs and festivalsTravel and branch support showsCorporate and internal eventsCommunity events and paradesSupervise on-site event staff and ensure events are executed safely, efficiently, and professionally.Oversee event logistics, including booth layout, equipment transportation, setup, teardown, and operational readiness.Coordinate complimentary Emergency Road Service support for event attendees when applicable.Resolve operational issues, customer concerns, and employee matters independently while in the field to ensure successful event execution. Elevates the role from a coordinator of work to a true people leader.Places supervision and employee development at the forefront of the position summary.Adds language around coaching, accountability, hiring, training, employee engagement, and leadership, which better aligns with supervisor-level expectations.Clarifies the level of independent decision-making expected in the field.Modernizes the qualifications by emphasizing leadership competencies in addition to technical event management experience.
