This role is three-quarter time to full-time, depending on location.
We welcome applicants from across the Piedmont Triad, especially those local to Greensboro and Graham, NC.

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Venue Manager to lead the operations of our vibrant entertainment and hospitality venue. This dynamic role involves overseeing day-to-day activities, driving venue sales, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining a lively, safe environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality and sales, and extensive experience in managing nightlife or wedding/event spaces.

The Venue Manager will oversee two locations — The Graham Mill (Graham, NC) and The McAlister-Leftwich House (Greensboro, NC) — and will take on venue sales responsibilities alongside day-to-day operations, including generating bookings and building client relationships.

As Venue
Manager, you will drive the success of our venues by fostering a positive atmosphere, supervising staff, and ensuring seamless event execution. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-energy team in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of venue operations across both the Graham and Greensboro locations, including event management, guest services, and daily administrative tasks
Drive venue sales by generating leads, booking events, and building relationships with clients and event organizers
Lead and supervise staff members, including shift management, training, and performance evaluations
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
Coordinate with event organizers to plan and execute successful events that meet quality standards
Maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
Prepare detailed reports on venue performance, incident logs, and operational insights for senior management
Supervise the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or assistant manager experience
Strong background in managing shifts, guest services, and customer relations in fast-paced settings
Sales experience, with the ability to generate bookings and grow revenue
Excellent report writing skills for documenting incidents, operational metrics, and team performance
Knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS systems
Experience in managing large-scale events or nightlife venues with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively
Ability to travel between and manage operations at both the Graham and Greensboro locations

Work Location: Largely onsite, managing both locations — Greensboro, NC 27401 and Graham, NC 27253 — with remote work opportunities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
