Role Description
The Wedding Assistant will play a key role in supporting the execution of weddings and related events. Responsibilities include: assisting with setup and takedown, providing hands-on support during the wedding day and Supporting the Event Manager onsite adhere to event timelines, coordinate vendors and ensure Food & Beverage service is executed. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX, and involves working closely with clients, vendors, and the Cohost team to ensure each event runs smoothly.
Qualifications
• Strong Communication and coordination skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced event environment
• Organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities during events
• Previous experience in wedding or event planning is a plus
• Flexible availability, including weekends is required
Certifications (required)
• TABC

Job Details:
Morning Assistant:
$15 per hour
9am to about 2pm – schedule varies on events, locations, and schedule of the event. A morning assistant is someone who is warm and welcoming. The morning assistant is the first Cohost Hospitality person that our clients and vendors see on one of the biggest days! The morning assistant preps the suites for clients, helps setup the venue with linens, ensures clients are taken care of and welcomes vendors as they arrive.
Morning Assistant Job Responsibilities:
• Stocking bridal and grooms suites
• Greeting guests and vendors
• Completing room setup (linens, miscellaneous decorations)
• other duties required by Event Manager and Director
Evening Assistant:
$15 per hour
2pm-12am – schedule varies on events, locations, and schedule of the event. The evening assistant needs to be someone who is ready to be on the move and help ensure the flawless execution of a wedding or event. The evening assist takes direction from the Event Manager.
Evening Assistant Job Responsibilities:
• Helps complete setup of room
• Helps Event Manager with Wedding Ceremony responsibilities
• Assists in managing and maintaining the timeline of event under the direction of the Event Manager
