Wedding day of coordinator

Overview
We’re looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure to join our crew as a Day-Of Wedding Coordinator. If you love weddings, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a heart for serving couples well, you might be just who we’re looking for.

What You’ll Do
• Oversee and execute the full wedding day timeline
• Communicate with vendors (photographers, florists, DJs, venues, etc.)
• Assist with ceremony and reception setup as needed
• Be the main point of contact for the couple on wedding day
• Handle last-minute changes with professionalism and confidence
• Keep the day running smoothly from start to finish

TASKS and TIMELINE

The Day of Coordinator will be expected to complete the following items as well as a complete task list as provided during training.
• Reach out to the couple to introduce yourself in a friendly and excited manner
• Schedule a Details meeting approximately 3 months prior to the wedding date. This will take place either in the company offices or via a virtual meeting.
• The meeting consists of obtaining all needed information to successfully complete your job and will take between 1.5-2 hours.
• Follow up after the meeting within 48 hours with a task list, to-do's for couples, and a recap of what was discussed.

Send a draft timeline and floor plan to the couple within two weeks of the Details Meeting.

Requirements
• Must be 18+ (21+ preferred for certain venues)
• Weekend availability (Fridays–Sundays)
• Willingness to travel for weddings could involve flying or long driving hours.
• Reliable transportation
• Previous wedding or event experience preferred, but not required

• Part-time / as-needed (based on bookings)

Pay $21/hour- $35/hour with a $200 flat fee per wedding

All payments are based on the wedding or event date. The first flat-fee payment, which includes compensation for the details meeting, will be paid during the regular pay period in which the 60-day mark before the wedding occurs. The second flat-fee payment will be paid during the pay period in which the 30-day mark before the wedding occurs. The final flat-fee payment, which includes compensation for the final call, will be paid during the pay period in which the wedding date occurs.
