We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and calm-under-pressure Day-Of Wedding Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a genuine passion for weddings and client service. As a Day-Of Wedding Coordinator, you will play a critical role in overseeing the full wedding day timeline and ensuring every aspect of the event flows smoothly from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and the flexibility to handle last-minute changes with professionalism and confidence. You will serve as the main point of contact for the couple on their wedding day and coordinate closely with vendors including photographers, florists, DJs, and venues.
This is a part-time, independent contractor position with pay ranging from $21 to $35 per hour plus a $200 flat fee per wedding. The position offers an opportunity to grow with the business and engage in varied wedding events potentially requiring travel, which may include long drives or flights. The work schedule primarily involves weekends, including Fridays through Sundays. The role also requires proactive communication that begins months in advance of the wedding date, including scheduling and leading a detailed meeting with the couple to review plans and timelines. This detailed meeting typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours and is followed by a timely recap and a draft timeline and floor plan submission. If you are someone who values teamwork, has a positive can-do attitude, and enjoys creating exceptional experiences for couples on one of their most important days, this opportunity offers a fulfilling and dynamic environment to apply your skills and grow your career in the wedding industry.
