The Barn at Indian Ridge is currently seeking a highly energetic and enthusiastic person to join our Weddings & Events team for its second location. This position will focus on servicing and providing dedicated attention to weddings, wedding couples, and event clients at the second location.
You will also be responsible for answering inbound calls, making appointments, and coordinating with clients and vendors.
Must be available weekends, especially during prime wedding season, and be available throughout the entire event.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior wedding planning experience is required for consideration. Please do not apply without wedding planning experience.
Must have excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a courteous manner with wedding couples, families, and guests attending events.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must be friendly, personable, positive, and maintain a welcoming attitude during all events.
Provide personalized service and excellent hospitality to wedding couples, families, and guests attending events.
Remain calm under pressure and make decisions with maturity and sound judgment.
Must have reliable transportation and be local to the Highland, NY area, preferably within 10–15 miles.
Prior experience in event sales, event planning, hospitality, or comparable experience is required.
