For non-wedding Events, this position acts as the liaison between the Event Planner and the Hotel staff. The Wedding and Event Planning Manager is the on-site contact and is responsible for the smooth planning and subsequent execution of all wedding, social, gala and other events as assigned. The Wedding and Event Planning Manager also hosts hotel tours, wedding and event tastings, maintains strong internal and external customer relationships, participates in and may lead event meetings, and other staff meetings, and works as a team member with the sales, event and hotel staff.
