Wedding Planner

You will be meeting with our clients on a regular basis, taking time to understand their preferences, and coordinating everything from invitations, floral, and decor to logistics, vendor management and budgets. The specific tasks will vary by client, but below is an overview of responsibilities: • Take sales calls with potential clients to walk them through our services and ensure we are a good fit • Meet with clients to learn about their vision for the day • Create realistic client budgets • Manage and track wedding expenses and payments • Recommend and source vendors based on clients needs and budget • Manage client communication and keep clients informed throughout the planning process • Communicate with third-party vendors to secure dates, requirements, payment, and invoicing • Attended client-vendor meetings, including, but not limited to culinary tastings and design mockups • Create custom mood boards and design decks, creating unique and personalized designs • Stay on top of current wedding trends in order to enhance the client's experience • Maintain wedding planning portal for each client • Create a detailed wedding timeline, diagrams and vendor lists • Run the wedding rehearsal and wedding day and maintain a calm and collect demeanor • Manage staff during the event. Work Hours and Pay: This is a contractor position and we are looking for a planner who is, ideally, looking to take on 10-20 events per year. friends, client referrals, vendor referrals) Additionally, you have the ability to choose which events you want to take on, how many events you take on, and the ability to work remotely.
