Jewell Events Catering is continuously growing and is currently seeking a full time position to join our talented sales team. We are looking for an outgoing sales and event consultant experienced in the food service industry.

The Wedding Specialist / Event Consultant we are looking for will report to the Director of Sales and is a member of the company’s dynamic team. They are responsible for the overall management of special event sales, planning and execution. This position drives the company’s high standards for service while maintaining and meeting revenue goals. Qualified candidates must be passionate about food service, highly creative and eager to share their talents.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.
Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
Ability to identify prospects and develop the tactics needed to bring them to fruition.
Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environment.
Experience with a specific sales methodology, sales funnel management.
Ability to choose and deploy marketing and sales applications.
5 - 7 years experience in a quality retail foodservice operation at the management level
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively, independently, and efficiently with tight time constraints
Must be creative, innovative and able to be proactive
Must be detail oriented and perform work accurately and timely
Able to work flexible work schedule in order to accommodate business levels

Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, ability to pass E-Verify (I-9 verification) and ability to stand for up to 8 hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $21.00 per hour
