This position is a part-time Activities Assistant role, ideally suited for passionate individuals eager to contribute positively to the lives of seniors. The Activities Assistant works closely with the Activities Director to develop and implement a dynamic and engaging calendar of activities tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of residents with varying levels of care. This involves creating opportunities that support resident individuality and promote active participation and leadership among the senior community. The role requires assisting in the leadership and execution of programs, encouraging residents to engage socially and emotionally through thoughtfully planned events. Beyond activities, the assistant is responsible for designated administrative duties such as posting daily calendars, maintaining resident sign-up sheets, ordering supplies, and supporting activities leaders among residents. When applicable, this position may also include transporting residents to off-site functions using company vehicles.
