The Event Specialist will work closely with the Conference and Event Services team to plan, coordinate, and execute administrative and analytical tasks in support of event accounts. • Preparing agreements and contracts • Maintaining account relationships • Overseeing event setup, coordination, and evaluation • Inputting data into software systems • Recommending product enhancements The following skills are required: • Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications • Working knowledge of Google Suite, PeopleSoft, and web-based scheduling packages Key Responsibilities The Event Specialist will be responsible for: • Coordinating event logistics, including setup and teardown • Solving problems creatively and making decisions independently • Interpreting and applying departmental policies and procedures • Preparing budgetary reports and analyzing financial data • Providing general office assistance and support documentation This is a full-time, non-exempt position that leads toward permanent status after a probationary period.
