Advancement Event Coordinator

Curry College seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented Advancement Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of events that promote alumni engagement and institutional fundraising. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Advancement Event Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating logistics for events that build relationships with alumni, donors and the Curry College community. Events Planning & Execution: • Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni and donor events, including Homecoming & Family Weekend, the President's Speaker Series, Hall of Fame, Commencement, and other key college events; • Manage event logistics from start to finish, including: site reservations, vendor coordination, set-up/breakdown, signage, equipment rentals, and on-site oversight; • Support efforts to meet or exceed an annual fundraising goal of $125,000 through donor and alumni events or initiatives; • Serve as primary liaison with internal departments including Catering, Buildings & Grounds, Public Safety, and Marketing and Communications; • Maintain schedules and procedures for the Alumni House and other campus event spaces; • Provide logistical and planning support for alumni engagement initiatives led by the Alumni Communication & Engagement Officer. Collaboration & Communication: • Work closely with the Alumni Communications & Engagement Officer, who manages alumni outreach and communication strategy, to ensure events align with alumni engagement goals; • Assist with developing and distributing event-related materials (invitations, programs, follow-ups, etc. At the College's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the College, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
