Area Event Planning Manager

US - TX - Houston Located in the charming Houston Heights neighborhood, Hotel Daphne is the latest project from Austin's acclaimed hospitality group Bunkhouse Hotels. This position reports to the hotel's Area Director of Sales. Serves as the primary point of contact between meeting planners and hotel staff to ensure seamless event execution.Prepares and manages all event documentation for property events.Coordinates with sales teams, hotel departments, and customers to deliver consistent, high-quality service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases.Details and oversees all food, beverage, and audiovisual (A/V) requirements.Manages room blocks and monitors room pickup performance.Reviews and communicates billing instructions to ensure accuracy.Conducts final event reviews to confirm all client expectations are met.Identifies opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling and event enhancements.Creates exceptional event experiences by recommending value-added services and customized solutions.Ensures successful event execution while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position.
