Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Event Coordinator to support our event operations in Houston, TX. The Assistant Event Coordinator supports the planning and execution of events by assisting with logistics, communication, and on-site coordination. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and wants to grow in the events industry.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and coordinating private and corporate eventsSupport event timelines, schedules, and service plansEnsure event spaces are properly arranged and stockedSupport staff scheduling and event logisticsMaintain organized records of event details and updatesProvide professional customer service during eventsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to multitask and work under time constraintsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbsProfessional appearance and positive attitudeBenefitsFlexible schedulingOpportunities to work at various eventsSupportive team environment

Schedule & CompensationSchedule: Monday-Friday with occasional weekend support

Shift Length: 6-8 hours

Pay:$20.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
