Assistant Event Manager (Entry-Level)

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Event Manager, you will:

Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of live events and promotional campaigns Support event logistics, setup, scheduling, and operational planning Work alongside the Event Manager to manage budgets, resources, and timelines Help oversee event staff, brand ambassadors, and volunteers Engage with event attendees to deliver excellent customer experiences Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional and marketing materials Monitor event activity and help resolve on-site issues as they arise Provide administrative support, including reporting and performance tracking Collaborate with the wider team to improve event strategy and execution

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills Are highly organised with excellent multitasking abilities Are enthusiastic about events, marketing, and customer engagement Can work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn Are reliable, proactive, and team-oriented Previous experience in events is beneficial but not required A qualification in event management, marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not essential
