Our Function Director role is a key on-site leader who is responsible for the successful day-of execution of Catering by Michaels events. This position oversees event staff, basic logistics, client experience, and adherence to company standards, ensuring every event is delivered with precision, professionalism, and care. Function Directors are the face of Catering by Michaels on event day, leading teams, solving problems in real time, and instilling confidence in clients, guests, and partners. Client & Vendor Interaction • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with clients, guests, vendors, and venue staff • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between the client and event staff • Address questions, concerns, or challenges calmly and effectively • Build lasting relationships with clients, venues, and event partners
