Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Catering Event Coordinator to join their team in Madison, Wisconsin . This role is crucial for the seamless execution of all catered events, from initial client consultation to post-event follow-up. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, manage logistics, coordinate with the culinary and service teams, and ensure every event is a memorable success. Key Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand event needs, preferences, and budgets, developing customized event plans. Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, staffing, timelines, and vendor management. Liaise effectively between clients, sales teams, kitchen staff, and service personnel to ensure smooth event flow. Create detailed event timelines and run sheets for all catered functions. Oversee on-site event execution, troubleshooting any issues that arise to maintain client satisfaction. Conduct post-event follow-up to gather feedback and ensure client expectations were met. Requirements Previous experience as an event planner, catering coordinator, or similar role. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail. Superb communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client service. Ability to remain calm and problem-solve effectively under pressure.
