Communications Officer (Event Planner) -COMIN - [Contractual]

Work for the IMF. The Communications Department (COM) is the IMF’s center for strategic communication. Working closely with the Internal Communications division chief, the hired professional will undertake the following responsibilities: • Event Planning and Governance: Develop institutional guidelines for planning and organizing events, including high-level events; departmental events; clubs and communities’ events; among others. Qualifications: • Education: An advanced university degree, or equivalent, in communications, marketing, production, event management, or a related field, supplemented by a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional work experience in event management or production, with a focus on high-level events. • Execution: organize and implement selected high-level internal and external events • Impact: Post-event reports and evaluations of events under direct responsibility, and some guidelines on how to measure impact and engagement.
