ARMA (Austin Regional Manufacturers Association) is a nonprofit trade association focused on strengthening the manufacturing community through advocacy, workforce development, and networking.
ARMA is looking for an organized, proactive, and dependable Coordinator, Events & Experiences to support our event planning, member engagement, sponsor coordination, and high-quality program experiences.
This full-time role will help ensure ARMA’s events and experiences are coordinated, responsive, professionally executed, and aligned with member, sponsor, and organizational goals.
About the role:
The Coordinator will manage ARMA’s event portfolio, member experiences, sponsor-related event support, communications, logistics, reporting, and follow-up. This position works closely with ARMA’s Executive Director and regional partners, including members, sponsors, business leaders, vendors, speakers, volunteers, and community partners.
Key responsibilities include:
· Planning and executing ARMA’s annual event calendar from concept through post-event evaluation.
· Creating professional, welcoming, and valuable experiences for members, guests, sponsors, and partners.
· Managing venues, vendors, catering, audiovisual, speakers, sponsors, registration, signage, materials, and event-day logistics.
· Supporting event sponsorship development, fulfillment, recognition, and revenue opportunities.
· Coordinating event communications, invitations, reminders, follow-up, and post-event reporting.
· Tracking budgets, revenue, expenses, participation, engagement, and event impact.
The ideal candidate:
· Is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
· Can manage multiple events, deadlines, vendors, and stakeholders with disciplined follow-through.
· Communicates professionally with members, sponsors, business leaders, vendors, speakers, and community partners.
· Is comfortable coordinating complex events and programs with limited day-to-day supervision.
· Brings forward solutions, tracks commitments accurately, and helps ensure important details do not fall through the cracks.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
· 2–4 years of progressively responsible experience in event planning, program coordination, member engagement, hospitality, association management, or a related role.
· Demonstrated ability to manage events or programs from planning through execution, including logistics, timelines, budgets, vendors, and follow-up.
· Experience working with members, sponsors, business leaders, volunteers, or external partners is strongly preferred.

· Salary: Approximately $75,000 annually
· Work environment: Hybrid, with remote and flexible work options available. Candidates must be locally available for in-person meetings, events, and responsibilities as needed. Occasional after-hours and weekend engagement will be required.
