Creative Event Planner

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in our Michaels stores. Our goal is to create a stress-free and engaging experience for all guests, from children's birthday parties to other craft classes or events. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual with excellent people skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and children's events, as well as good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication. Responsibilities will include: • Planning and coordinating multiple events at once, including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events • Engaging with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity • Demonstrating and instructing party participants in the completion of craft projects, performing face painting and other activities • Facilitating and implementing party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc.
